Ink about it

While looking over photographs of Christmas just passed, one stood out from the others, instantly taking my interest. It's of my Aunt's partner 'Les', and inspired me to get out the ink! I love painting with ink. So fine and soft, it really allows a free flowing flexibility that no other medium can give. Once starting this piece, I really found it hard to stop. Mind you there's still a long way to go, though I'm really happy with my progress so far. I haven't told Les I'm painting him yet, though can guarantee he'll be thrilled by the attention!
