Franklin Ajaye

I was purchasing some albums online the other day and came across a stand-up album from my favorite comedian. I have looked everywhere for years for a cd or dvd of his stand up act.. I now sit at work listening to him on my ipod while everybody else wonders what the hell I'm laughing at:)

I just came back from a fantastic meeting with the wonderful Michele at Boscia Galleries in Flinders Lane Melbourne. She was just lovely! So down to earth and a pleasure to deal with. She really liked my work and expressed much interest in representing me - I have such a good feeling about Michele and her gallery the answer was easy - YES!

Painting up a Storm!

Tonight I'm planing to paint up a storm. I have four paintings on the go at present and need to bring them all closer to completion. These paintings are demanding much time as they're quite clean, precise and detailed. I am enjoying the process - though they're requiring more layers than an onion. I'm still looking for my camera battery charger - so no pics for now..

I have a few things in the works at the moment. I'm still madly painting for my November solo at Manyung. I've also been approached by the Convent Gallery in Daylesford to have a solo there next year - so will be meeting with them very soon. Plus I'm meeting with a Melbourne
Gallery in the heart of the city on Saturday for a potential show - so excited about that one:) I'm also working on all the art and design for a mainstream movie in the works.. So it's all systems go!

Lastly I'm very excited as Santo has invited me down to the filming of Hollowmen next week for a catchup - so that should be great fun!
