During the weekend I had coffee at a local cafe I frequent. When my coffee arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find a couple of double D's staring back at me haha

Well I finally have a name for my Solo show at Louey and Lane this June....

It's funny when the right name pops into your head you just instantly know. I've toyed with several names trying to encapsulate the theme/tone of the collection - finally I have it!

Also the local paper asked me if they could do a piece on my upcoming show close to the opening - so that'll be great publicity to get the locals in:)

Now to get painting!!!!!!!

Article...

An article came out yesterday in relation to my Archibald Entry. Strangely enough the newspaper that approached me is the local of the suburb I grew up in until I was about 19 - Werribee Banner.

Starting Fresh

My Archibald painting goes out today - so tonight I will start painting some new work for my upcoming solo in June. It will be a nice change to get back into quick loose oil painting - I will keep you updated with new paintings as I finish them..

Oh, today I have an interview with the Caulfield Leader in relation to my Archibald entry - will post the article once it comes out..

Yesterday I met Santo at Louey and Lane Gallery for our Herald Sun photograph. It was so much fun and a fair few shots were taken. I'm not sure exactly when the article goes to print - though I'll let you know as soon as I do..
